Thanksgiving Weekend

Our big weekend started out with the Turkey Trot 10K
Before

"I can't believe you got me up so early for this!"

After. Finishing time 1 hour 7 mins.

To make up for the calories that we burned that morning we headed to the Moore's house for Thanksgiving dinner.

A wonderful meal done by Susan aka Martha Stewart.

AJ and Chloe trying out the dog's crate.

If only this were legal!

OOOOOooooohhhhh. That is what Chloe said when she saw the lights.

Daddy's hard work

Decorating Chloe's tree

At Hunt Club Farm to see their Christmas Extravaganza. Chloe would only sit on the pony for a min, but that was it.

The goats were hungry today.

Cutie!

I finally put together a real photo album of our England/Ireland trip today. I came across this photo and couldn't believe I missed it, I think it is one of the cuter photos I have ever taken of her.

I am quite proud to say "she's mine!"

Norfolk Nor'easter

Thursday the Nor'easter slammed Norfolk with heavy rains and wind. It looked a lot like the weather we saw in Jacksonville during the hurricanes. I had no clue that this weather was coming, since I never have time to watch the news, so I didn't grocery shop or really prepare. When it started raining, I really didn't think much of it. Little did I know everything would start flooding and the power would go out for 48 hours. Who knew a Nor'easter could be so brutal?

My best purchases yet, a fleece lined raincoat that I bought in England and Hello Kitty rain boots from Target.

Our future weather girl who stayed out in the pouring rain for an hour. I dragged in her in the house kicking and screaming.

Bailey, the wuss, wouldn't come off the porch.

This is a really mad Chloe. She just stood by the door crying and holding her sopping wet coat. She went back outside after naptime.

Halloween Weekend

We had a BIG week/weekend over Halloween. Chad headed off to TN to prep for his new job and to sign the lease on our rental house. Meanwhile, Grandma came to visit Chloe and I in Norfolk. We celebrated Grandma's Birthday with a nice dinner, presents and a pretty cake.

Chloe couldn't keep her fingers out of the icing.

Happy Birthday Grandma.

Then Grandma took us to the Sesame Street Live show.

Chloe was in Elmo Heaven. She has recently caught Elmo Fever. She just can't get enough of that red furry monster. She had so much fun at the show. I couldn't believe that she sat there and watched for an hour and half.

Chloe was ecstatic over her $10 Elmo Balloon.

Carving our Halloween pumpkin.

Chad got back LATE on Friday night and on Saturday morning got up and ran the 10K with me in Virginia Beach. It was a lot of fun. We saw some really hilarious running costumes.

Bailey and Chloe all dressed up for Halloween Trick or Treating. Unfortunately it was 80 degrees out so Chloe was hot and not feeling so good, but she looked really cute.
