Kisses for Bailey

Chloe loves to give Bailey kisses now. She puts her mouth in Bailey's face until Bailey licks her. She thinks it is hilarious. She has just started saying a few words, which we are so excited about. She is saying Bye-Bye all day long to everyone she meets. She is so happy and proud of herself for saying "Bye." It's really cute.

Faceplant #2

Chloe had her first faceplant in England this summer and scraped up her nose, this week she landed on her cheek! Poor kid.

Best Friends Forever

Chloe has made her first best friend, Sydney. We met Sydney and her Mom, Ashley, last spring one day at the zoo. It turned out they were only a month apart and they lived one block away from our house! What are the chances of that? They take Tumbles class together twice a week as well as have playdates. You can't help but laugh at the squealing that commences when they first see each. It is the cutest thing, they don't want to leave until the other one leaves, and Chloe cries when Sydney has to go home. They give each other hugs and chase each other while tickling each other. It really is the cutest thing I have ever witnessed.

Herding Dog

There was this dog who was trying to herd the ducks at the farm we went to today. I have never seen a dog doing this before, I thought it was so cool. All the kids kept chasing the ducks and the dog would just keep chasing them one by one getting them all back together again.

Barrette

She actually left this in for 2 hours. She hates having me play with her hair and won't leave a barrette in, so this was quite an accomplishment. But I think I am just going to trim her bangs and keep them short for the time being.

Ashley's Birthday Cake

This was the cake I made last week for my friend Ashley's birthday. This was my favorite cake so far for two reasons. One, I finally mastered making roses, and two because it was really easy. I did the roses in two-tone color. Meaning I put pink and yellow in the same icing bag and piped the roses. I love it. Don't get mad at me if I deliver a cake to you and it looks like this! I will be repeating this style in the future.
