What a fabulous trip we had!

We're back!  I know you missed me!

United Airlines delivered us safe and sound, but really tired, back to Washington D.C. last night.  We returned from a truly awesome, once in a lifetime vacation in England and Ireland. We did and saw so many cool things that I don't even know where to start writing about the adventure.

My younger (and smarter, if you asked him) brother and his wife live and work in England. My brother took a job with the government after college and a fews years later came upon a really cool opportunity to go on a 3 year tour in England.  So off they went and haven't looked back.

A year ago we decided we were going to make this trip with Chloe before Dan and Kelly moved. This summer was the only time Chad could take 2 weeks off from work, so we started planning. We figured since we were going all the way to England we could go a little further to Ireland too.  We went BIG!

Dan and Kelly helped us make this trip possible and without them we could of never have had this amazing experience.  Thanks for putting up with us, helping us carry all our stuff, making all the plans, driving us around, and accommodating the little one.

And we can't forget their crazy little fur-children, Max and Molly, who happily licked and played with Chloe as well as ate her food.  They made us feel right at home. 

We are still in Maryland today and will be heading back to Norfolk tomorrow. In between loads of laundry and naptime I will be blogging all about our travels. Much more to come...
