On Holiday: Day One

We arrived at Heathrow Airport in London on Tuesday morning.  I was so happy that the 7 hour flight was over.  Chloe was a saint.  We planned it so that we flew during her night time hours, so she slept for most of it. PERFECTION!!!  The flight attendants were so nice to me because I was a mom who kept her child quiet for a 7 hour flight.  I gave myself (and Chad) a little pat on the back for that one.

Dan picked us up at the airport bright and early that morning.  He drove us to Cheltenham where he lives which was about 1.5 hour drive.  We were exhausted, we all napped for a little while,  and Dan stepped up and entertained Chloe when she got up so Chad and I could get a little more rest.  Actually I think Max and Molly did most of the entertaining.





We were rested and ready to go out.  We headed out to the center of their town straight to the cute shops and pubs.  

Chloe took a brief snooze while I made my first shopping trip to Next.  I love this store, they have the cutest kids clothes.






I took this photo in Boots, which is like a Walgreens only much better.  I got a kick out this self tanning lotion called Holiday Skin.  


We all sat down for a drink at a local pub before we headed back to make dinner.





After dinner Chad and I took Chloe for a walk around their neighborhood.  Chloe bent down to pick something up off the ground, lost her balance, and went face first on the gravel.
