Navy All-American Dad

Chad played in the Army/Navy Alumni Game at Raven's Stadium in Baltimore on Friday night. We had lots of fun watching and seeing everyone.  Chad was #45 in college, but he was #28 for the alumni game.  

Army won the game by a landslide, but who was really keeping score.  Everyone was just out to have a good time.  Honestly, I think it is great Army took the victory in this alumni game.  Their service and sacrifice during this time of war has been above and beyond the call of duty.

Chad made the paper!  He was interviewed by The Sun about the Army/Navy Lacrosse Game. 

Here is what he said...

Our rivalry is a unique rivalry because we are going to depend on each other as soon as we graduate," said former Navy defenseman and three-time All-American Chad Donnelly (class of 2000). "It's a unique experience because not only are you trying to kill the guy on the other side of the ball, but you also have the utmost respect for the guy on the other side of the ball."

Thank you Lord for this wonderful meal of pizza you have given me tonight. I thoroughly enjoyed eating it, getting it all over my face & clothes, and rubbing it through my hair. AMEN.

She wasn't keen on the helmet at first, but now that she knows that when I put it on we are going for a bike ride, she is cool with it. She seems to be rather fond of cruising around the neighborhood.

Meeting the Easter Bunny

I wasn't going to take Chloe to see the Easter Bunny this year since she really isn't fond of people she doesn't know holding her, BUT since Grandma Wissmann sent an adorable Easter dress and hat we decided we should do it.   I made an effort on this occasion to actually get in a few pictures with Chloe, but after seeing them I am going to leave it up to Chad and Chloe to be the photographed ones.  Thank goodness Chloe got the Donnelly photogenic gene.  Neither of them ever look bad in a photo!
